Over the moor to Ilkley

Walking, running or Cycling route over the top of Ilkley Moor and down to the town centre.  It's quite a challenging route with a lot of climbing on generally hard surfacing but the spectacular views make it well worth the effort.

Airedale Wharfedale Loop

A longer Cycling route suitable for gravel/hybrid or mountain bikes.  The route goes out to the rear of the farm to Ilkley Road and over the top of Rombalds Moor and down into Ilkley - the gateway to the dales. From Ilkley it goes to Bolton Abbey then turns left to Embsay village and down into Skipton where it picks up the Leeds and Liverpool canal and back to East Morton.

This shows the route to the Leeds and Liverpool Canal from the farm. For a shorter flat version just drive down to the canal and park on the other side of the swing bridge.

Bingley 5 Rise Cafe is excellent and offers a large range of drinks cakes and meals.  The cafe is 2km from the swing bridge.  Of course you can go much further to Salt Aire and right through to Leeds in that direction and to Skipton and beyond the opposite way.
